About Lok Shakti Vikas Trust
Lok Shakti Vikas Trust, Bharuch has celebrated the 25th Silver Jubilee anniversary year. The Trust was established on 12/06/2001 under the Mumbai Public Charitable Trust Act with Trust Registration Number F/813/Bharuch dated 12/06/2001.
Lok Shakti Vikas Trust is also registered as a society with Registration Number Guj/824/Bharuch dated 12/06/2001.
Objectives Behind the Establishment
Lok Shakti Vikas Trust works in the field of higher education in Bharuch, Narmada, and tribal areas. The objective is to run undergraduate and postgraduate programs so that students become self-reliant and receive professional and socially useful education.

Establishment of Colleges
Shri Saraswati College of Social Work (BSW)
Established in 2008 with recognition from the State Government and affiliation with Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. The college has now completed 17 years and is running in its 18th year.
Total BSW Graduates: 831
Shri Saraswati MSW College
Started in 2016 due to requests from students, parents, society members, and tribal community leaders. The MSW program has now completed 9 years and entered its 10th year.
Total MSW Postgraduates: 535
Student Demographics
- Around 90% of students are female
- About 90% of students belong to tribal and underprivileged communities
Fee Structure & Financial Support
The institution continuously strives to ensure that students and parents face minimal financial burden.
BSW Undergraduate
- University Fee: ₹4,000
- Remaining Tuition: Supported by Tribal Development Officer, Bharuch
MSW Postgraduate
- University Fee: ₹10,000
- Remaining Tuition: Supported by Tribal Development Officer, Bharuch
Hostel Facilities
The institution is residential and committed to affordable, quality accommodation.
Annual Hostel Fee Structure
- Total Annual Fee: ₹20,000
- Food Bill Assistance (TDD): ₹15,000
- Student Contribution: ₹5,000
The hostel fee has remained ₹20,000 without any increase since establishment.
